By day, I'm an engineering lecturer at Wright State University and I teach everything from bioinstrumentation to linear systems. I've also worked as a professional recording engineer and (briefly) in the defense industry. I've designed and built custom recording equipment for studios all over the country, including my own, and even recorded narration for an Emmy Award-winning documentary once. I currently manufacture two phono preamplifiers based on a design I've been refining for the last 24 years.

I've been incredibly fortunate to have toured the world playing many styles of roots music and I still tour and record every chance I get. You can always catch me live near my home base of Yellow Springs, Ohio, too.
